“Every Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16 VAB Paul wrote to Timothy: “Evil men and deceivers will progress from evil to worse – seducing and being deceived. And you remain in what you have learned and what you are convinced of, knowing from whom you learned it and that from childhood you know the Holy Scriptures that can make you wise for salvation through the faith that is in Christ Jesus.

Every Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (r. 13-17 VAB). Here’s why you should read your Bible: 1) Not to be misled. God will never tell you something through another person, or your own thoughts, that does not agree with what He has clearly revealed in His Word. For this reason you need to know Scripture. 2) To know that you are truly saved.

Apostle John writes: “I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life and that you may believe in the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:13 VAB). 3) To recognize your calling and equip yourself. Paul says: “that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17 VAB). The Bible is your guide to living the Christian life, so read it every day! Bible: 2. Kings 15-16, Acts 10:24-48
