House of possibilities in Varaždin

The association Hoću život launched the House of Opportunities – a housing project for young people leaving the social welfare system with a mentoring program aimed at making them independent in life. The mentoring program includes:

• taking the necessary steps to find employment,
• help in managing personal finances,
• computer skills and possible foreign language learning,
• social skills needed to build positive relationships,
• practical skills such as cleaning and cooking,
• taking care of one’s own hygiene and health,
• and other necessary skills for independent living.

From 2021 part of the needs of the House of Opportunities is under the financial patronage of Orphan’s Promise.
